Prof. Hiromichi Fukui is the Vice President of Chubu University, Japan. He currently serves as the President of the Japan Chapter of the International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE), Vice President of the International Research Center for Digital Earth Applications, and as a Fellow of the Asia-Pacific Global Change Research Network (APN). Prof. Fukui specializes in emergency management, spatial analysis, environmental studies, land use planning, satellite image analysis, and sustainability. He has published over 72 academic papers, reports, and books.
